Rastriya Prajatantra Party Leader Kamal Thapa Criticizes Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah's Administration for 'Vindictiveness'

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Kamal Thapa has commented that the administration led by Balen Shah has embarked on a path of prohibition, retribution, and prejudice. Following the arrest of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak on Saturday, Thapa stated that conflict and confrontation should not be anyone's priority at the present time.

He wrote on social media, "The Balen government, formed with the goal of good governance and economic prosperity, appears to have taken the path of prohibition, retribution, and prejudice. Conflict and confrontation should not be anyone's priority at the present time."

Thapa stated that adherence to the rule of law, mutual understanding, and unity are the first prerequisites for good governance and prosperity.
