Climate Activist Raksha Bam Congratulates PM Balen Shah on Appointment

Kathmandu. Climate activist Raksha Bam has congratulated Prime Minister Balen Shah. She stated this while writing a status on the social media platform Facebook on Friday. She expressed confidence that PM Balen would not disappoint those who are excited, nor would he encourage those who are skeptical.

She said, 'The position you have reached today was not easily attained by you. The spirit provided by the climate movement and its essence has played a big role in this. I believe you have internalized this, and in any decision or action you take in the coming days, you will never forget the sacrifice of those who lost their lives and were injured in this movement. Learn from the mistakes of those in the past who forgot the people and remained confined within the walls of Baluwatar and Singha Durbar. We are also here as a street opposition. We are watching you. Our constructive support and vigilance will remain with you.'
