Six Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Six people have lost their lives in separate road accidents in various parts of the country. These accidents, occurring in Kapilvastu, Dang, Kailali, Chitwan, and Rupandehi, resulted in the deaths of pedestrians, motorcycle riders, and a cyclist.

In Khairi, Shivraj Municipality-5, Kapilvastu, 35-year-old Prakash Pudasaini from Nuwakot died after being hit by a vehicle with registration number Ba.9 Cha 9620. He succumbed to his serious injuries during treatment at a hospital in Chandrauta, while police are searching for the absconding driver.

Two separate accidents in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang, claimed two lives. In Soudikula, Ghorahi-10, 32-year-old Bel Bahadur Pun died during treatment at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences after his motorcycle, Ra.2 Pa 7265, went out of control and overturned. Similarly, in Kalanghari, Ghorahi-13, 52-year-old pedestrian Jyoti Pun died on the spot after being hit by a tipper with registration number Ra.1 Ka 1293. Police have taken the tipper driver into custody.

In Dhangadhi, Kailali, 25-year-old driver Mahesh Chaudhary died when his motorcycle, Su.Pa.Pra.01-0011 Pa 13, went out of control and crashed near Jokhartal Bridge. In Bharatpur-11, Barmelichowk, Chitwan, 47-year-old cyclist Narayani Regmi died during treatment at a new medical college after being hit by an 'untested' car.

Furthermore, in Gurbaniya, Mayadevi Rural Municipality-5, Rupandehi, 75-year-old pedestrian Basanta Pal died after being hit by a motorcycle with registration number Lu.35 Pa 8871. Police have taken the drivers of both the car and the motorcycle involved in these incidents into custody and have initiated further investigation.
