Rautahat Police Arrest Nine Fugitives as Part of Court Verdict Implementation Campaign

Rautahat. Rautahat Police have arrested nine defendants who had been absconding for a long time as part of the court verdict implementation campaign.

Teams deployed from the District Police Office Rautahat and its subordinate police units arrested 7 defendants convicted in various cases with fines and sentences, and 2 defendants involved in ongoing cases on Thursday.

According to Rautahat Police Chief SP Sitaram Rijal, those arrested include Meghu Rai Yadav (Forgery) fined NPR 1,000, Anukul Gupta (Theft) fined NPR 1,000, Bijay Chaudhary (Gambling) fined NPR 2,000, Kalpana Chaudhary (Relationship Establishment) fined NPR 1,250, and Sukunti Devi (Defamation) fined NPR 25.

Similarly, Jalsi Devi Kurmi (Death Penalty Case) was fined NPR 300, and Prem Yadav was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment in a case of (Criminal Mischief).

Regarding ongoing cases, Hridyalal Rai Yadav (Attempt to Murder) and Narendra Rai Yadav were arrested in a case related to (Meter Interest).

According to DSP Bishnu Pradip Basyal, spokesperson for the District Police Office Rautahat, all those arrested have been sent to the Rautahat District Court for necessary action.
