NRNA Youth Vice President Pledges Programs to Connect Global Nepali Youth with Homeland

Kathmandu. Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Youth Vice President Bhimsen Thapa has committed to launching special youth-focused programs with the aim of uniting Nepali youth worldwide and connecting their skills, expertise, and experience with their motherland.

While presenting his views after being elected Vice President at the 12th General Convention, Thapa stated that he would prioritize the empowerment of Nepali youth abroad and advance programs related to employment, entrepreneurship, and skill development. He mentioned a plan to connect Nepali youth scattered across the globe onto a single platform and coordinate their capabilities with Nepal.

“Connecting the skills, experience, and potential of Nepali youth worldwide with Nepal will be my priority,” he said, adding, “I will take concrete initiatives to make the youth power competitive and strong at the international level.”

Thapa committed to increasing the attachment of expatriate youth towards national identity, language, culture, and values, and creating an environment where future generations can take pride in their Nepali identity. Furthermore, he stated that he would play an active role in ensuring the rights and entitlements of the youth while further strengthening the relationship between Nepal and the diaspora.
