NMB Bank Distributes Assistive Devices to Persons with Disabilities in Surkhet Under CSR Initiative

Surkhet. NMB Bank has distributed various assistive devices to persons with disabilities in Bheriganga Municipality, Surkhet, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The support was provided under the "Disability Transformation and Rehabilitation Partnership Program" organized by the Ministry of Social Development and implemented in collaboration with Karuna Foundation, National Federation of the Disabled Nepal, and NMB Bank. 

Wheelchairs, elbow crutches, and other materials were distributed during the program to ease the daily lives of persons with disabilities. The bank also provided financial assistance of 5 lakh rupees for this program.

The program was completed under the chief guest presence of Ghanashyam Bhandari, Minister for Social Development of Karnali Province, and chaired by Yagya Prasad Dhakal, Mayor of Bheriganga Municipality. Deputy Mayor Ansara Bohara, NMB Bank's Lumbini Province Area Manager Ramesh Regmi, Surkhet Branch Manager Suman Subedi, and others were present at the event.

Currently, NMB Bank is providing high-level financial services through 202 branches, 184 ATMs, and 9 extension counters across the country.
