Twenty Foreign Women Arrested in Kathmandu's Thamel Area for Immoral Activities

Kathmandu. Twenty foreign women have been arrested from the Thamel area of Kathmandu for engaging in immoral activities and indecent behavior. The Kathmandu Police arrested them from various locations in Thamel. Police stated that those arrested include women from Uganda.

Police reported that they were operating a sex trade business by illegally bargaining with local and foreign citizens in the Thamel area.

The arrested individuals are currently being investigated by the Lainchaur Police Circle after obtaining a 12-day remand extension from the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, for the offense of indecent behavior.
