Fire at Itahari Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor Brought Under Control

Sunsari. The fire that broke out at the Purwanchal Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-6, Sunsari, has been brought under control.

The fire, which started this morning, has been completely extinguished, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Subas Hamal of the Area Police Office, Itahari. According to him, the fire originated from the cafe's kitchen. Security personnel and locals immediately rushed to extinguish the blaze upon ignition.

"The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been confirmed," he said. Fire engines (fire trucks) were summoned from Dharan, Ramdhuni, Inaruwa, Biratnagar in Morang, and Sundarharaicha to fight the fire. Deputy Superintendent of Police Hamal stated that since the cafe was closed in the morning, there were no human casualties.
