Madhesh Province Intensifies Preparations for SEE Exams Starting Chaitra 19

Janakpurdham. Preparations are being expedited in Madhesh Province for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) scheduled to begin on Chaitra 19. A total of 87,591 students from across the province will participate in the examination this year.

According to the Education Development Directorate, Madhesh Province, 299 examination centers have been designated across the province to ensure the examination is systematic, dignified, and impartial. Students from 1,316 schools will participate in these centers.

The Directorate stated that extensive preparations have been made to make the examination operation effective. 299 center superintendents, 433 assistant center superintendents, 4,235 invigilators, 734 examination assistants, and 1,603 office support staff will be mobilized. Furthermore, arrangements have been made to deploy 4,485 security personnel for security purposes.

According to the district-wise details, Dhanusha district will have the highest number of participating students at 13,262, while Saptari district will have the lowest at 9,276 students. Students from 162 schools in Saptari will take the exam.

Similarly, 11,038 students will participate from Siraha, 11,351 from Mahottari, 11,371 from Sarlahi, 9,777 from Rautahat, 10,813 from Bara, and 10,703 from Parsa.

According to the Directorate, the number of participating students has decreased compared to the previous year. Last year, 88,858 students participated, meaning there is a decrease of 1,267 students this year.
