New York Consulate Concludes Outreach Camp in Pennsylvania

Kathmandu. The Consulate General in New York successfully concluded a mobile outreach camp in the state of Pennsylvania on Sunday. Service seekers applied for passport renewals, powers of attorney, NRN cards, and tourist visas through this camp.

According to Consul General Dadhi Ram Bhandari, the Consulate General in New York has conducted outreach camps in four out of the nine states under its jurisdiction. Approximately one thousand service seekers have benefited from this initiative.

During an interaction session held alongside the camp, service seekers praised the organization of the camp. Maryland State Delegate Dr. Harry Bhandari, Consul General Dadhi Ram Bhandari, local social worker Binod Moktan, Everest Credit Union Executive Director Suman Timsina, NRN NCC Vice President Deepak Sapkota, among others, shared their views during the interaction. This interaction was organized in coordination with NRN, Global Taekwondo Academy, and local organizations.

It is reported that such camps organized by the Embassy in D.C. and the Consulates General in Texas, California, and New York have been playing an effective role in recent years.
