70-Year-Old Woman Dies Mysteriously in Jumla After Suffering Head Injuries

Jumla. A 70-year-old elderly woman has died under mysterious circumstances in Jumla. According to the District Police Office, Jumla, Maheshwara Sunar, a resident of Sahunbada, Konkasundari Rural Municipality-4, was found in a seriously injured condition and died while being taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to the police, she was brought to the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital at 8:10 AM and was declared dead by the doctor at 9:45 AM. Police Inspector Nirdesh Baral stated that the woman had injuries to her head and eyes.

Her relative, Dhirbahadur Buda, stated that neighbors discovered the incident when she was kept at home after being attacked with a sharp weapon on her head. Injuries were visible on her eyes along with the head wound. 

According to Chief District Officer Deepak Paudel, a team led by Police Inspector Lokendra Adhikari has gone to the scene for further investigation into the incident.
