Drone Attacks Hit Two Kuwaiti Oil Refineries in Separate Incidents

Kuwait City. Drone attacks targeted two oil refineries in Kuwait on the same day. According to the state-run Kuwait News Agency, a fire broke out at the Mina Abdullah oil refinery, located south of Kuwait City, after it was struck by a drone.

Following the incident, the affected area was confirmed to be on fire. However, detailed information regarding the extent of the damage has not yet been made public.

Security personnel and emergency teams are reportedly attempting to bring the fire under control. The Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, located near this facility, was also subjected to a drone attack on Thursday.

It was reported that the incident at Mina Al-Ahmadi resulted in limited fire, which was subsequently brought under control. Kuwait Petroleum Corporation stated that no one was injured in the incident at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery and that the fire had been contained.
