CPN-UML Leaders Gokul Baskota and Sher Bahadur Tamang Trade Barbs Publicly

Kathmandu. Leaders of the CPN-UML, Gokul Baskota and Sher Bahadur Tamang, have engaged in an exchange of accusations. Baskota expressed his anger on social media, stating that Tamang had publicly attacked him.

He stated, "I didn't want to say this, but because I expressed my opinion, Sher Bahadur Tamang has publicly attacked me like someone destroying a millet field. I am not like you, someone who only changes factions to secure positions for themselves and their spouse."

Baskota also claimed that Tamang is an extreme opportunist who has repeatedly not hesitated to split the party. He asserted that looking at the history since 038 makes this clear.
