CPN-UML Central Committee Member Krishna Thapa Dies After Collapsing During Meeting

Kathmandu. Krishna Thapa, a central committee member of the CPN-UML and Kaski in-charge, has passed away. He collapsed while addressing the district committee meeting on Thursday. His body is being kept at Manipal Hospital.

It is reported that he suffered a heart attack at the venue of the district committee meeting.

During the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21, he was nominated as the candidate for Kaski-2, but after protests, his ticket was withdrawn and Rashmi Acharya was made the candidate.
