Rabi Lamichhane Thanks Indian PM Modi for Election Congratulations

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has expressed his gratitude to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Modi telephoned RSP Chairman Lamichhane and senior party leader Balendra Shah on Monday to congratulate and wish them success for their victory in the recently concluded elections. He also extended best wishes for the formation of the new government.

In response, Lamichhane thanked Modi on social media, expressing his appreciation to Prime Minister Modi for respecting the democratic mandate given by the Nepali people.

Chairman Lamichhane committed that the RSP and the upcoming government would work towards further strengthening relations based on mutual respect and shared prosperity. He specifically mentioned prioritizing 'Development Diplomacy' and emphasizing development-centric diplomacy.

He expressed the hope of taking Nepal-India relations to new heights by expanding cooperation in areas such as connectivity, cultural tourism, energy, and trade.

According to Chairman Lamichhane, cooperation between Nepal and India will be further strengthened for the prosperous future of the people of both countries.
