Butwal-Narayangadh Road Section Blocked Due to Slippery Conditions in Daunne Area

Nawalparasi. The Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed. The Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been blocked because the area where the road subsided in the Daunne region became slippery due to rain.

Police Superintendent Yuvraj Khadka of the District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) stated that traffic movement has been problematic since this morning because the road surface became slippery due to rain at the location where the road subsided in Daunne, Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2.

“Vehicles have faced difficulty operating since around 10 AM this morning as the road became slippery,” he said, “Approximately 100 to 150 vehicles are lined up and stopped in both directions at that location.”

It is reported that there will be immediate problems in operating the road as drizzle continues to fall. Police Superintendent Khadka informed that security personnel and the road project are trying to clear the road.
