Leaders Resign from Aam Janata Party and CPN-UML Following Rautahat Election Results

Rautahat. Following the announcement of election results in Rautahat parliamentary constituencies number 3 and 4, responsible leaders from the Aam Janata Party (Aam Janata Party - Aam Janata Party) and CPN-UML have announced their resignations. Sudhir Yadav, Central Executive Member and Deputy Secretary-General of Aam Janata Party, and Sheikh Ekramul, CPN-UML Madhesh Province Committee Member, have resigned from all party responsibilities.

They informed about their resignation from all party responsibilities through separate statements issued on Sunday evening. Yadav of Aam Janata Party mentioned gaining extensive experience during his nearly 25-year political journey and expressed dissatisfaction with the leadership's working style during the recently concluded elections. He voiced disagreement over Party Chairman Prabhu Sah's unilateral decision-making process, working style, and the lack of necessary support and time given to the candidate for Rautahat Constituency No. 4, Rishi Dhamala.

According to Yadav, he also leveled accusations of activities such as attempts to defeat the candidate by using people within the party. Due to these reasons, he announced his resignation from all party responsibilities, including ordinary membership.

Yadav stated that he decided to separate from the party effective from today, recalling his 25 years of political struggle. Yadav currently resides permanently in Chandrapur under Constituency 4.

Similarly, Ekramul, who was also the mayoral candidate for the CPN-UML party from Gujara Municipality under Constituency 3, announced that he would not even remain an ordinary member of the party. However, he did not disclose the reason. Following the contrary results in the House of Representatives election held on the 21st, some leaders and cadres of CPN-UML and Aam Janata Party appear to be disgruntled.
