Iran Slashes Fuel Quota in Tehran Following Oil Depot Attacks

Tehran. Following attacks on oil depots in Iran's capital, Tehran, local administration has implemented temporary cuts in fuel consumption. According to the Governor of Tehran Province, the daily quota of fuel available through personal cards has been reduced from 30 liters (7.9 gallons) to 20 liters (5.2 gallons).

The Governor urged citizens not to worry about fuel shortages, stating that the supply disruption would be resolved quickly, as reported by the Fars News Agency. He also promised that this is a temporary measure and the situation would return to normal after two or three days.
