Nepali Climber Purnima Shrestha Achieves Guinness World Record for Triple Everest Ascent in Single Season

Mountaineer Purnima Shrestha has successfully registered her name in the 'Guinness Book of World Records' by climbing Mount Everest three times in a single season.

She announced receiving this world record honor in observance of the 126th International Women's Day. Shrestha set the record as the first woman to summit Mount Everest the maximum number of times (3 times) in a single season.

Sharing information about this historic achievement, Shrestha stated that she is extremely proud. While extending Women's Day wishes, she said, 'May every woman who dreams be able to climb all seemingly impossible peaks of success with firm resolve, courage, and continuous hard work.'
