CPN-UML Maintains Lead in Five Constituencies Amidst Rastriya Swatantra Party Wave

Kathmandu. Amidst a wave for the Rastriya Swatantra Party across the country, the CPN-UML has maintained a lead in five constituencies so far. UML candidates are leading in Ilam-2 with Suhang Nembang, Ilam-1 with Kaji Man Kagate, Achham-2 with Yagya Bahadur Bogati, Mugu-1 with Purnabahadur Rokaya, and Sankhuwasabha with Arjun Kumar Karki.

In Ilam-2, Suhang Nembang maintains the lead with 19,691 votes, while Sudip Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party is trailing with 13,607 votes. Gokul Bahadur Rai of the RSP is in fourth place with 6,461 votes, while the Shram Sanskriti Party is in third.

Similarly, in Ilam-1, UML's Kagate leads with 4,523 votes, while Congress's Nishkal Rai is in second place with 4,242 votes. RSP's Bimal Gadal is trailing behind the Shram Sanskriti Party candidate. He is in fourth place with 2,070 votes, while Binod Nembang Limbu of the Shram Sanskriti Party is in third.

In Achham-2, Bogati leads with 5,677 votes, while Congress is in second place with 5,059 votes. RSP's Bhupdev Sah is in third place in this constituency.

In Mugu, Purnabahadur Rokaya maintains the lead with 2,315 votes, while Congress's Khadga Shahi is in second place with 2,200 votes. RSP's Bhuwan Tamata is in fourth place. In Sankhuwasabha, UML's Arjun Kumar Karki leads with 1,673 votes, while RSP's Mingma Sherpa is in second place with 1,408 votes. Dipankumar Shrestha is in third place with 584 votes.

The CPN-UML has secured victory in 6 seats so far. So far, Mohammad Ishtiaq Rai of UML has won in Banke-2 with 24,628 votes. 

Ganesh Singh Thagunna in Darchula with 18,891 votes, Ainbahadur Mahar in Bajhang with 18,543 votes, Rajendra Kumar Rai in Dhankuta with 18,132 votes, Khitij Thebe in Taplejung with 13,962 votes, and Laxmi Prasad Pokharel in Dailekh-2 with 13,889 votes have already been declared victorious.
