Four Killed, One Injured in Auto-Rickshaw Accident in Chitwan Municipality

Chitwan. Four people have died and one person has been injured in an auto-rickshaw accident on the internal road section at Dabyatar, Kalika Municipality-9 of the district.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the accident occurred today when the auto-rickshaw with registration number Bagmati Province 06-001 H 0315, traveling from Uppardangadi towards Shaktikhor, went out of control on its own and overturned into a ditch.

District Police Office Information Officer Ravindra Khanal informed that the deceased, including the auto driver Purna Bik, 39, from Rapti Municipality-9, Bishnukumari Tamang, 56, from Rapti Municipality-8, Bini Tamang, 22, from Rapti Municipality-9, and Tilak Tamang, approximately 56, from the same location, died this evening during treatment at the Old Medical College in Bharatpur.

Chini Kumari Gurung, 53, from Rapti Municipality-9, who was injured in the accident, is currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
