Five Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal in Last 24 Hours

Kathmandu. Five people have died in separate road accidents that occurred in various parts of the country in the last 24 hours. They lost their lives in separate accidents in Nawalparasi East, Kanchanpur, Dhading, Sunsari, and Dang.

In Nawalparasi East, 28-year-old Nabin Ghataane died after a truck with registration number Na. 5 Kha 9006 hit a motorcycle with registration number Na. 28 Pa 4260 at Kaligandaki Chowk in Gaindakot Municipality-4. After he passed away during treatment at the New Medical College in Bharatpur, police took the truck driver into custody.

Similarly, 28-year-old Man Bahadur Chaudhary, the rider, died when a motorcycle with registration number Se. 3 Pa 2008 went out of control and crashed at Sadakghat in Belauri Municipality-10, Kanchanpur. He succumbed to his serious injuries during treatment at the Shripur Primary Health Center following the accident that occurred on Friday night.

In Dhading's Baireni Bazaar, 39-year-old Hom Bahadur Tamang died when two motorcycles collided with each other. Following the accident involving motorcycles with registration numbers Ba. 82 Pa 2965 and Ba. Pra. 02-064 Pa 5786, police took the other driver into custody and began an investigation.

Likewise, in Sunsari's Ramdhuni Municipality-6 Ichol, 60-year-old Bhim Bahadur Karki died after a car hit a safari vehicle. Driver Karki, who was seriously injured after being hit by a car with registration number Bagmati Pradesh 1-033 Cha 8878, passed away during treatment at the Ghorpa Hospital in Dharan.

Furthermore, in Dang's Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-14 Dhyangpur, 35-year-old Kaleshu Chaudhary lost his life when a tractor with registration number Lu. 3 Ta 7651 overturned after losing control. Two other people injured in the tractor accident are currently receiving treatment at the Rapti Provincial Hospital.

Police have initiated further investigation into all these accidents.
