Rastriya Swatantra Party's Sagar Dhakal Vows Action Over Celebration After Gulmi Election Win

Gulmi. Sagar Dhakal, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party who secured victory in Gulmi Constituency No. 1, stated that he views the unprecedented love and votes given by the public as an opportunity to fulfill his responsibilities. Publishing his views on social media, he mentioned that the time now is for working and showing results rather than celebrating.

He clarified that his priority will be to show the results rather than the victory rally. Dhakal informed that he has already started working in the field immediately following the election results. He mentioned that while counting was ongoing in Gulmi, he inspected an abandoned irrigation project and is now working to find a solution for it.

According to Dhakal, many new initiatives will start from the policy level in the coming days, and the next five years will be defined by results rather than mere talk. Stating that his main goal is to convert the public's trust into achievements, he expressed his determination to bring about a transformation in the country through hard work day and night.

Dhakal committed that he would not discriminate against anyone based on political affiliation, whether they were defeated or victorious. He stated that he would treat everyone equally with the same respect and affection as a Nepali, regardless of their party affiliation.

He urged voters and well-wishers to ask him for work rather than offering him garlands, colored powder (abir), or praise. Thanking Nepalis across the country, he delivered the message that "We all Nepalis must be for our country, Nepal."
