Motorcyclist Killed in Truck Collision in Nawalparasi's Gaindakot

Nawalparasi. A motorcyclist has died after being hit by a truck in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Sustapurba). Police reported that the accident occurred this evening at the Kaligandaki Chowk along the East-West Highway when a truck with license plate Na 5 Kha 9006 struck a motorcycle with license plate Na 28 Pa 4260, resulting in the driver's death.

Superintendent of Police Yuvraj Khadka, Chief of the District Police Office, Nawalpur, informed that a man around 35 years old died in the accident. He stated that the critically injured motorcyclist was sent to Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, Chitwan, for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

Khadka further informed that the identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not yet been established. Police have taken the truck driver involved in the accident, 42-year-old Aashkumar Sah from Bhaktapur Municipality-7, Bhaktapur, into custody and initiated an investigation.
