Hark Sampang's Shram Sanskriti Party Candidates Take Early Lead in Six Koshi Province Constituencies

Biratnagar. Candidates from the Shram Sanskriti Party led by Hark Sampang have taken an initial lead in six constituencies of Koshi Province.

While Sampang himself, a candidate in Sunsari 1, is in second place, candidates from his party are leading in Udayapur 1, Ilam 2, Panchthar, Bhojpur, Khotang, and Dhankuta. In Sunsari 1, Goma Tamang Sarin from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured 1,015 votes, whereas Hark received 303 votes.

In Ilam 2, Sudip Rai is leading with 1,504 votes, putting him ahead of UML's Suhang Nembang. Rai secured 1,504 votes after the counting of votes from Chulachuli 4, 5, and 6 was completed. UML's Suhang received 1,359 votes, while Nepali Congress's Bheshraj Acharya garnered 733 votes.

In Dhankuta, San Bahadur Rai is ahead with 2,851 votes, surpassing UML's Rajendra Kumar Rai. In Panchthar, Hastaraj Sherma is leading with 656 votes, leaving Congress's Narendra Kerung behind with 462 votes.

Meanwhile, in Khotang, after counting 500 votes, Aaren Rai, bearing the soil symbol for Shram Sanskriti, received 214 votes. In the district, Congress's Birkaji Rai received 110 votes.

Similarly, in Bhojpur, out of the 1,935 votes counted so far, Sanskriti's Dhubraj Rai is leading with 467 votes. He is being closely followed by UML's Sherdhan Rai, who has received 460 votes.

Furthermore, in Udayapur Constituency No. 2, Sanskriti's Balraj Rai has taken an initial lead with 529 votes. He is being pursued by Suresh Kumar Rai of the Communist Party of Nepal, who has received 380 votes.
