CPN-UML Takes Lead in 12 Constituencies Amid Ongoing Vote Counting Across Nepal

Kathmandu. As the vote counting for the House of Representatives elections continues nationwide, the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has maintained its lead in twelve different constituencies.

According to the updated vote count as of Friday evening, Pramod Kumar Yadav is leading in Rupandehi Constituency No. 4, securing 8,305 votes to maintain his advantage.

Similarly, Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai is ahead in Banke Constituency No. 2 with 6,632 votes, while Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal has secured the top position in Tehrathum Constituency No. 1 with 5,176 votes.

Likewise, UML leader Prithvi Subba Gurung is leading in Lamjung Constituency No. 1 with 2,658 votes. In Surkhet Constituency No. 2, Kulmani Devkota has 2,148 votes, and Til Bahadur Mahat Chhetri is continuing his lead in Nawalparasi Constituency No. 2 with 1,663 votes. In Doti Constituency No. 1 of the Far-West, Deepak Bahadur Dhami is leading with 1,077 votes.

Laxmi Prasad Pokharel is in the lead in Dailekh Constituency No. 2 with 942 votes, Surya Bahadur Thapa in Kailali Constituency No. 2 with 933 votes, and Pradip Kumar Katuwal Chhetri (KC) in Sindhuli Constituency No. 1 with 903 votes. Furthermore, Asmita Thapa is in the first position in Okhaldhunga Constituency No. 1 with 760 votes, and Suhang Nembang is leading in Ilam Constituency No. 2 with 491 votes in their respective constituencies.

According to the Election Commission, the vote counting process is continuously moving forward.
