CPN-UML Takes Lead in Kailali Constituency-3 Vote Count

Kailali. The CPN-UML has taken the lead in Kailali Constituency No. 3. CPN-UML candidate Birbhan Chaudhary has secured 604 votes.

According to Assistant Election Officer Pushpa Raj Joshi of the Kailali Constituency No. 3 Election Office, after counting 1,572 votes in Bhajani Municipality-1, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Jagat Prasad Joshi has received 275 votes.

Similarly, Vikram Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal has received 252 votes, Bhim Baduwal of the Nepali Congress has received 215 votes, and Gaurishankar Chaudhary of the UML has received 103 votes. A total of 83 votes were declared invalid here. 55 percent of the votes were cast in Kailali-3. Out of 109,122 registered voters in the constituency, 60,294 votes were cast.

The constituency has 45 polling stations across Ghodaghodi Municipality, Bhajani Municipality, and Kailari Rural Municipality. Voting was held peacefully at 147 polling centers. Candidates from 11 parties are in the electoral race in this constituency.
