Voter Turnout Reaches 58.07% in Federal Parliament Elections

Kathmandu. A voter turnout of 58.07 percent was recorded in the House of Representatives elections held on Thursday. The Election Commission based this figure on verbal and written reports received from the districts, according to data published on Friday.

Out of a total of 18,903,689 registered voters, 10,977,711 votes were cast.

According to provincial data, the voter turnout was 58.62 percent in Koshi Province, 58.39 percent in Madhesh Province, 60.93 percent in Bagmati Province, 54.92 percent in Gandaki Province, 59.1 percent in Lumbini Province, 55.66 percent in Karnali Province, and 51.40 percent in Sudurpaschim Province.
