Peaceful Conclusion to House of Representatives Elections Across All Four Constituencies in Rautahat

Rautahat. The House of Representatives member election held today across all four constituencies in Rautahat concluded peacefully.

The voting program, which began at the scheduled time of 7:00 AM, concluded at 5:00 PM. Rautahat's Chief District Officer (CDO) Dinesh Sagar Bhusal informed that voting was completed at all 541 polling centers within the district without any untoward incidents.

CDO Bhusal stated that the voting process was completed peacefully and systematically due to the effective management by security personnel and election staff. A total of 142 candidates, including those from political parties and independents, were contesting across the four constituencies of the district.

With the voting complete, CDO Bhusal mentioned that ballot boxes are currently being transported from the polling stations to the counting centers, and preparations for vote counting are likely to begin tonight. According to Chhotelal Das, the Chief of the District Election Office, counting will take place at Juddha Secondary School in Constituency No. 1 (Gaur), Brahmjyoti Secondary School in Constituency No. 2 (Laukaha), Janata Secondary School in Constituency No. 3 (Katahariya), and Janajyoti High School in Constituency No. 4 (Chandrapur).
