Embassy in Oman Resumes E-Passport Services in Muscat

Kathmandu. The Nepali Embassy in Oman has informed that e-passport related services have been operational in Muscat since July 13, 2026. The embassy gave this information by issuing a notice on Wednesday.

The embassy's notice stated that Nepali citizens with less than one year of passport validity remaining can fill out the form, take an appointment, or come directly to the embassy to renew their passports.

The embassy has stated that e-passport related services will be provided even on holidays in the coming days according to the pressure and needs of the service recipients. Also, the embassy stated that it has provided services by filling out the form itself for those who do not know how to fill out the form and book time, and have not returned anyone due to not filling out the form.
