Nepali Congress Thanks Voters, Officials Following House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has thanked the voters, well-wishers, political parties, staff, and security personnel who participated in the House of Representatives election held on Thursday. Party President Gagan Thapa issued a statement on Thursday evening expressing gratitude, noting the significant role played by everyone in successfully conducting the election.

In the statement, President Thapa wrote, 'The enthusiasm and active participation shown by voters nationwide in the House of Representatives election has once again strongly expressed the Nepali people's commitment and unwavering dedication to democracy. On behalf of the Nepali Congress party, I express high respect and gratitude to all the mothers, sisters, and brothers who participated in the election and exercised their valuable right to vote.'

Thapa stated that the election confirmed the voters' deep faith in the democratic system. The statement mentioned that the active participation of voters has made political parties further responsible for governing the upcoming government according to public expectations.

Furthermore, Thapa thanked the government and the Election Commission for successfully conducting the election in a peaceful environment, aside from a few incidents in some constituencies. Thapa extended gratitude and congratulations to the civil servants and all security agencies who worked day and night to make the election successful.

He also thanked the political parties, journalists, and national and international observers who played a responsible role in the election.
