Two Injured in Azerbaijani Drone Attack, Government Claims Iranian Involvement

The Azerbaijani government has stated that two people were injured in an Iranian drone attack.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, one drone struck the terminal building of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Airport, and another fell near a school building in the village of Shakhbuz.

It was reported that the drone attack damaged the airport building and injured two civilians injured.

The ministry stated that the Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran has now been recalled home. It was also mentioned that a strong protest will be lodged with the Iranian side regarding the incident, and the necessary report of the protest will be submitted.
