President and Vice President Abstain from Voting in House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu. The President and Vice President did not participate in today's voting for the House of Representatives election. It has been stated that they refrained from voting to maintain neutrality as guardians of the constitution.

President Ramchandra Paudel's decision not to participate in the voting was made because he serves as the guardian of the constitution and the guardian of the nation, informed Presidential Press Advisor Kiran Pokharel. President Paudel previously cast his vote from the Satyawati Secondary School polling center in his former home district of Tanahun.

Vice President Ramsahai Prasad Yadav did not participate in the voting process due to constitutional neutrality, informed Press Advisor Dinesh Yadav. He previously cast his vote from the Basbaria polling center in Bara in previous elections.
