Karnali Province Sees 30.7% Voter Turnout by 1 PM

Surkhet. In Karnali, 30.7 percent of votes have been cast by 1 PM. According to the Provincial Election Officer, Lal Bahadur Gurung, 318,302 votes were cast by 1 PM.

The province has a total voter population of 1,037,250. He stated that 30 percent of the votes have been cast so far. According to Gurung, the turnout in Surkhet-1 is 30.72%, Surkhet-2 is 31.53%, Dailekh-1 is 21.91%, and Dailekh-2 is 16.83%.

Similarly, the turnout in Jajarkot is 34.02%, Salyan is 33.57%, Rukum West is 34.53%, Kalikot is 26.72%, and Jumla is 31.20%. Likewise, Mugu recorded 37.55%, Dolpa 34.05%, and Humla 43.72% voter turnout.

According to Gurung, voting is proceeding peacefully across Karnali so far.
