Peaceful Voting Underway Across Nepal for House of Representatives Election; High Turnout in Jhapa-5

Voting is taking place across the country on Thursday for the House of Representatives election. Accordingly, voting is also proceeding peacefully in Jhapa.

Voting is proceeding just as peacefully in Jhapa-5, which is considered a highly interesting constituency. There is also significant participation from Gen Z voters for the polling.

Among the candidates in Jhapa-5 are CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Balen Shah, among others.
