Over 5,000 Voters Cast Ballots in Kathmandu by 9 AM

Kathmandu. More than 5,000 voters have cast their ballots in Kathmandu district as of 9 AM on Thursday.

According to Thakur Prasad Bhattarai, the Chief Election Officer of Kathmandu, voting is proceeding peacefully across the district.

He stated that voting began on schedule at all designated polling stations, and voter participation appears encouraging. Security arrangements have also been tightened throughout the district. This House of Representatives election is being held under the government led by Sushila Karki following the J&J movement.
