Suspicious Object on Chabahil-Sankhu Road in Kathmandu Disposed by Security Forces

Kathmandu. A suspicious object found on the Chabahil-Sankhu road in Shankharapur Municipality-9, Kathmandu, has been disposed of by security personnel.

An official from the District Police Range Kathmandu told Ratopati that the suspicious object found in Indrayani was disposed of.

A team led by Inspector Parashuram Thapa, deployed on mobile patrol from the Armed Police Force's security base in Thali, reported the suspicious object to the army after spotting it. Upon disposal, it was discovered that the object was stones placed in a sack on the road.

The road resumed normal traffic after the bomb disposal team from the Army's Ranchandi Battalion in Sundarijal neutralized the object around 6 AM.
