Final Preparations Complete for House of Representatives Election in Siraha District

Siraha. All preparations have been finalized for the voting in the House of Representatives election scheduled for Thursday in Siraha. Election materials, staff, and security personnel have been deployed to all polling stations in the district.

According to Dr. Shriprakash Upreti, Chief Election Officer of Siraha, 224 polling stations, including 223 permanent and one temporary, have been designated across four constituencies, with a total of 534 polling booths, including 531 permanent and 3 temporary.

It has been reported that necessary materials, including ballot boxes, security seals, and barricades, have been delivered to all centers. Election staff held an all-party meeting with representatives of political parties and reached agreements regarding polling station management, voter ID verification, facilitation for the disabled and elderly, adherence to voting times, and dispute resolution procedures.

Commitment has been expressed to conduct the election in a peaceful and fear-free environment. A total of 4,794 staff members have been mobilized across the district, including 534 polling officers, the same number of assistant polling officers, and three support staff members at each center.
