Suspicious Object Found Near Candidate's Residence in Surkhet, Nepal

Surkhet. A suspicious object was found near Ratachaur in Bheriganga Municipality-11, along the road connecting Chhinchhu in Surkhet to Jajarkot. The suspicious item, wrapped in red plastic and resembling a pressure cooker, was discovered on Tuesday morning.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohanjung Budhathapa of the District Police Office Surkhet, the Nepali Army has already reached the location. The area is where Rabikiran Hamal, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate for Surkhet-1, resides. His vehicle was also attacked a few days ago.

Following the discovery of the suspicious object with a pressure cooker again on Tuesday, citizens are living in fear. Candidate Hamal stated, 'What is this unrest in this country? I urge the security agencies to take this seriously.'

Locals are demanding that the security of the citizens must be ensured.
