Amitabh Bachchan Completes Shooting for 'Kalki 2' Sequel, Expresses Joy Upon Returning Home

Mumbai. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wrapped up shooting for his part in the film 'Kalki 2' (sequel to Kalki 2898 AD). He has returned to Mumbai after completing the film's shooting. However, the film production team has not officially confirmed this matter.

Meanwhile, Amitabh expressed his affection for home in a post on his social media.

He wrote, 'Home is home after all. It is filled with emotion. Home is not just a structure of walls and a roof; it is a place of comfort, intimacy, and security.' In his blog, he mentioned that he was in Hyderabad for the shooting of 'Kalki 2' and will now be able to meet his well-wishers again. His post also suggests that he has returned home.

Bachchan has a tradition of meeting fans outside his residence 'Jalsa' every Sunday. However, last Sunday, he could not meet his fans due to shooting and travel. It is understood that he will continue this tradition now that he is back in Mumbai.

'Kalki 2898 AD' saw Bachchan play the mysterious and powerful role of Ashwatthama in the first part. His performance was well-received by the audience and critics. Besides Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani will be seen in lead roles in the film. It is said that Bachchan's role will remain central to the story in the sequel as well.
