Sixteen Join Rastriya Swatantra Party in Kathmandu Constituency 5, Leaving Congress and CPN-UML

Kathmandu. Sixteen individuals have joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, leaving the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.

At a program organized on Sunday at the party office in Maharajgunj, RSP candidate for Constituency No. 5, Sasmik Pokhrel, welcomed the new entrants into the party.

Those joining the party include Ramprasad Paudel, Bishnu Paudel, Pavitra Khadka, Khadgabahadur Karki, Sajana Karki (female), Bhagawati Khatri (Kharel), Balkumari Sigdel, Divya Giri, Sushmita Giri, Kavita Karki, Bigyan Karki, Niraj Karki, Mina Karki, Shrir Karki, Bishnu Karki, and Sagar Karki.

The new entrants stated that they joined the RSP after feeling the need for an alternative political force in the country. At the program, candidate Pokhrel claimed that a wave of change has begun in Constituency No. 5 and urged everyone to play an active role in strengthening the organization. He expressed confidence that more public representatives and youths would join the RSP in the coming days.
