All Preparations Complete for Rautahat By-Election Scheduled for Falgun 21

Rautahat. All preparations have been finalized in Rautahat district for the House of Representatives member election scheduled for this Falgun 21. Chief Returning Officer and District Judge Manoj KC provided this information after inspecting the polling station and counting center hall set up at the Model Secondary School in Katahariya.

Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, who participated in the inspection team, informed that more than 10,000 security personnel and manpower have been mobilized for the election. Expressing confidence that the voting will take place in a peaceful environment, he urged the voters of Rautahat to participate in the voting process without hesitation.

Patrols have commenced via foot, motorcycle, vehicle, and armored vehicles to maintain peace and security during the election. The Shree Narayan Dal Battalion of the Nepali Army has stated that security arrangements have been further strengthened with the objective of conducting the House of Representatives Member Election 2082 in an independent, impartial, and peaceful environment.

Targeting Falgun 21, the army has increased extensive security patrols and surveillance, including state-of-the-art military vehicles. The army stated that efforts to control potential risks have been intensified by deploying patrols simultaneously at various polling stations across the district. Security alertness has been heightened throughout the district as the election date approaches.

Informing that special surveillance is being maintained around the polling centers and strict security arrangements have been made to prevent any undesirable activities, Shree Narayan Dal Battalion stated that joint patrols and security management are being carried out in coordination with the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, deployed in all 18 local levels of Rautahat.

The inspection team included Judge KC along with Rautahat CDO Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, Nepali Army Colonel Biswas Bista, Rautahat Police Chief SP Sitaram Rijal, APF SP Ramhari Adhikari, National Investigation Deputy Director Kumar Budhathoki, District Election Officer Chhotelal Das, Constituency 3 Election Officer Avadhkishore Kushwaha, and other security officials and election office personnel.
