Reports Claim Up to 40 Senior Iranian Officials, Including Supreme Leader Khamenei, Killed in Recent Attacks

Tehran. CBS News, a media partner of the BBC, has claimed that around 40 high-ranking Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed in recent attacks in Iran.  

Citing intelligence and military sources, CBS reported that those killed include commanders of Iran's powerful military organization, the 'Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,' as well as the country's Defense Minister.  

It remains unclear whether these officials were killed at the same location or if they were casualties of separate attacks in different locations.
Although news of the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei is widely circulating globally, the Iranian government has yet to officially confirm it. Iranian state media and officials have previously dismissed such reports as 'enemy psychological propaganda.' However, international media outlets are claiming Khamenei's death based on their own sources.
