Four Injured as Pickup Van Crashes Near Pyuthan Municipality

Pyuthan. Four people were injured in a pickup van accident in Pyuthan. The van crashed near Bagdula of Pyuthan Municipality on Saturday. The accident occurred when a jeep with license plate Lu 1 Cha 7769 hit a motorcycle and a scooter.

DSP Narahari Adhikari of the District Police Office, Pyuthan, stated that although the involved van was used for Rastriya Swatantra Party's election campaign, it was being transported for repairs when the accident happened today.

The injured include the motorcycle rider, 20-year-old Jeevan Bishwakarma from Jhumrikanda, Pyuthan Municipality-5, and 21-year-old Resham Khadka, a resident of the same place, who was riding pillion.

Also injured in the accident are 26-year-old Deepak Pokhrel, a resident of Deupur, Lamahi Municipality-6, Dang, and his wife, 25-year-old Sujata Bhandari, who was riding the scooter. Police reported that the injured are currently receiving treatment at the District Hospital.
