Former Chairman of National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs, Hira Udash, Passes Away

Kathmandu. Former Chairman of the National Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs, Hira Udash, has passed away. The federation announced that he died on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Virat Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar.

The federation stated that the late Hira Udash made invaluable contributions to the broad unity, prosperous development, and reform of the public transportation sector.

The federation's condolence message mentioned that his passing, after being active in the transport sector for the past five decades and being widely known as the 'Bhasma Pitamaha' (Grandfather of Ash), is an irreparable loss to the transport world.

Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of the former chairman, the federation announced that it will fly half-mast flags at its offices in all seven provinces for three days while remembering his contributions.
