Drone Use Banned in Kanchanpur Ahead of Federal Parliament Elections

Kanchanpur. In view of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21, the use of drones has been banned in the district.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Mohan Chandra Joshi, drones currently in operation with permission from any individual or entity will not be allowed to be used from Falgun 18 until the election process is completed. He mentioned that action will be taken according to prevailing laws if drones are found flying in violation of the rules.

He stated that the use of drones is completely prohibited for three days leading up to the election until the election is concluded.

Similarly, as per the decision of the District Security Committee, a complete ban has been imposed on the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcohol in Kanchanpur for the duration of the election. The administration has stated that action will be taken according to the law for violating the ban.

Stating that the decision was made with the objective of maintaining peace, security, and social harmony during the election, the District Administration Office has urged cooperation from hotel operators, political parties, civil society, and the general public.
