CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel Unveils Five Pledges for Dang District Development

Dang. Shankar Pokhrel, the candidate for the House of Representatives from Dang Constituency No. 2 and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), has publicly announced five resolutions he intends to fulfill within five years if elected.

He expressed a commitment to bring transformation in five sectors: economic, educational, health, technology, and good governance. Pokhrel unveiled the resolutions today in Dang under the title 'Five Revolutions in Five Years.' The resolutions outline plans to advance economic and infrastructure revolutions through job creation, and expansion of roads, irrigation, and industries.

His pledge mentions prioritizing quality education and skill-based programs alongside the expansion of digital education. The resolutions state a commitment to ensuring accessible and quality treatment in health services, establishing hospitals with modern equipment, and providing specialized health services in every village.

While unveiling his resolutions, Pokhrel committed to developing Dang district as a model district in economic, social, and administrative aspects. He stated his desire to play a role in national politics as the representative of Dang district from now on. He said, "Now the people of Dang should be in a position to receive memorandums, not just submit them."
