Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party Leader Sharma Pledges Development Focus for Rukum West

Kathmandu. Janardan Sharma, a leader of the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party (Pratipa) and candidate for Rukum West, has stated that he is ready to fulfill the 'new dream' for the prosperity of Rukum. Addressing an election door-to-door campaign, Sharma said that while the past struggle was for rights, the next phase will be entirely focused on development and prosperity.

He recalled the situation where people previously had to pay 50 rupees to charge a phone, contrasting it with the current convenient state of Rukum. Sharma announced that his main plan is to operate a well-equipped hospital with 300 beds and a medical college in Rukum itself. He claimed this project would benefit not only Rukum but also the people of neighboring districts like Jajarkot, Salyan, Rolpa, and Eastern Surkhet.

He also informed that coordination is underway with Mid-Western University for this purpose. Keeping the interests of the youth in mind, he committed to building sports grounds for games like cricket and promoting sports as a business. He emphasized completing the 'one house, one tap' campaign and building a well-governed society.

While seeking votes from the constituents, Sharma referred to himself as the people's 'worker' and the people as the 'master'.
