Rabi Lamichhane Vows to End Politics of Division Between Terai, Hills, and Himalayas

Kathmandu. Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has stated that the era of those practicing politics by dividing Terai, the hills, and the Himalayas will now come to an end.

Addressing supporters while visiting Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham on Wednesday, Lamichhane asserted that RSP speaks for the development of the entire nation, not just one region, and declared that the business of those dividing politics based on Terai, hills, and Himalayas will now shut down.

He mentioned that they aim to end the age of politics that divides or separates the entire country and Madhes. He expressed the view that they will move forward by speaking honestly about the country and valuing every single vote of the people.

Lamichhane stated that while RSP spoke of good governance in the previous election, they failed to address the issue of discrimination, and this time they will seriously work towards ending discrimination alongside establishing good governance, giving priority to Madhes, which has suffered discrimination and injustice for decades, and promoting religious tourism here.
