Emraan Hashmi Reportedly Joins Cast of Highly Anticipated 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge'

Mumbai. New information has emerged regarding 'Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge,' one of Bollywood's most anticipated films. Amidst long-standing speculation about the role of 'Bade Sahab' in the sequel to Ranveer Singh's blockbuster film, Emraan Hashmi's name has now been linked.

According to a recent report from Letterboxd, Emraan Hashmi is increasingly likely to appear as the powerful villain or in a significant role this time. While it was previously speculated that this character would be inspired by the notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim or some real-life figure, fans are even more excited following the leak of the cast list featuring Emraan's name.

However, the film's producers have not officially confirmed Emraan Hashmi's role yet. Therefore, whether he will play the role of 'Bade Sahab' or appear in some other special capacity remains under suspense.

 Intense reactions have already begun on social media, suggesting Emraan might be the main antagonist. Previously, the first part of the film, 'Dhurandhar,' achieved record-breaking worldwide box office collections, taking Ranveer Singh's career to new heights.

The teaser and promo for this sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, have been well-received by the audience. The film's production is moving forward rapidly, and it is expected to create another big sensation in Bollywood. 

'Dhurandhar 2' is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. Interestingly, on the same day, South superstar Yash's highly anticipated pan-India project 'Toxic' is also set for release.
